Maria Filomena Gonçalves
She is Full Professor at the University of Évora, with a PhD in Portuguese Linguistics/History of the Portuguese Language (1999). She integrated the teams of the following international projects: Dicionário Histórico do Português do Brasil – sécs. XVI-XVIII (UNESP, Araraquara, Brazil), Lusismos Atlánticos, s. XIX-XXI (University of La Laguna, Spain); FRONTESPO 3P- Frontera hispano-portuguesa: personas, pueblos y palabras (University of Alcalá de Henares, Spain).
She coordinated the research group “Literacies and Textual Heritage” of CIDEHUS (2011-2019).
Since 2019 she is responsible for the Programme for the Preservation and Enhancement of “Barranquenho” Heritage, a project funded by Barrancos City Council and developed in partnership with this and other entities. He has published many works in the field of oral heritage and textual heritage.
