Registration

Registration for the International Congress “Safeguarding the Intangible Heritage: policies and practices for the next decades” begins on 15 July and runs until 30 September 2023.

Registration fees*

  • Participants with presentation: 70 Euros (In the case of papers with more than one author, all authors must register)
  • Attendees without presentation : 20 Euros | Students without a presentation: 5 Euros
  • Members of the UNESCO Chair team: no registration fee

* Including certificate issue, documentation, and 4 coffee breaks

Instructions for registration:

Deadline for applications: 30 September 2023

Please register via the following address: https://sge.uevora.pt

Follow these steps:

1. Go to https://sge.uevora.pt and register (“register”). After registering in the system, you will receive an email to confirm your registration (this confirmation serves to confirm that the person who registered is the owner of the registered email address).

2. Log in at https://sge.uevora.pt with the registration data and in the list you will access select the event “International Congress – Safeguarding the Intangible Heritage: policies and practices for the next decades“. After selecting the event, you will access all the information about it (type of registration, payment method). There are different types of registration: Participants with paper – 70€; Participants without paper – 20€; Students (without paper) – 5€; Members of the UNESCO Chair team – Fee waived”.

3. Select the side option “Register” and then choose “Confirm Registration”.

4. For the bank transfer, please include the referenceCongressoCatedraUNESCO23“, your first and last name, and the registration ID. If your organisation is making the bank transfer, please ensure that your name is indicated in the transfer description.

5. After making the payment of the registration, enter again in the Event Management System (SGE) of the University of Évora, go to your registration and select the side option “Proof of Payment” and insert the data for billing and proof of payment.

The registration will only be complete after the payment of the registration and upload of the respective proof of payment in the system.

Notes for payment by institutions and universities:

  • Please send to your institution: proof of acceptance for participation in the conference (acceptance mail); proof of registration for the event made on the University of Évora’s Event Management platform; and event information with the amount to be paid and bank details (information available HERE).
  • Your institution must issue an order form on behalf of the University of Évora, with the VAT: 501201920;
  • Send the order form to the e-mail cidehus@uevora.pt, putting in the subject: Payment of the registration fee – UNESCO Chair Congress;
  • Wait for the invoice that will be sent to you by the University of Évora;
  • After receiving the invoice, your institution should pay the amount corresponding to your registration;
  • When the payment is done, ask your institution to send you the respective proof, which you should attach to the Event Management system of the University of Évora, where you made your registration.
