Sajid Bin Doza nasceu na divisão de Rajshahi, no norte de Bangladesh, e formou-se em Arquitetura pela Universidade de Khulna em 1999. Obteve o mestrado em Arquitetura pela Universidade de Engenharia e Tecnologia de Bangladesh (BUET) em 2008 e completou o seu doutoramento em História da Arte e Estudos de Património na Universidade de Évora em 2016. Desde 2009 é membro da Faculdade de Arquitetura da Universidade BRAC de Bangladesh e Professor Auxiliar nesta disciplina.
Os monumentos históricos no norte de Bengala foram uma grande inspiração para o seu trabalho, pois não apenas lhe implantaram o desejo de se tornar um arquiteto, como também o ajudaram a criar obras artísticas de pintura, desenho e modelagem em barro que lhe renderam vários prémios no seu país e no exterior.
Tem um grande interesse no estudo do património e nas questões ligadas à identidade cultural, duas matérias a que tem dedicado uma atenção constante tanto na investigação como em relação à sua introdução nas políticas culturais.
No âmbito dos seus estudos organizou seis exposições individuais baseadas nos seus esboços e desenhos sobre o património cultural do Bangladesh.
